4 Valentine's Day Outfit Inspirations to Make Anyone Feel Confident

I love Valentine’s Day. Yes, I am the first to admit it is a commercial holiday, but even when I was single I loved Valentine’s Day. For me, Valentine’s Day is a reminder to let people in your life know you love them, and that means your friends and self love as well!

This week I wanted to put together some outfit inspirations to rock for Valentine’s Day (or really any date night) to make every woman feel confident no matter your personal style. Here are 4 different ways spice up your look for Valentine’s Day.

Rock a Dress

You can’t go wrong with rocking a dress on date night, but choose one which makes you feel confident! Pinks and Reds are my go-tos for Valentine’s Day, but if you have a neon orange dress which makes you feel beautiful, that is what you should wear.

I found both of these dresses at my local thrift shop, each for less than $20, which goes to show you that style doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. I jazzed up my outfit by adding a matching necklace and curling my hair, a special occasion look for me.

Bring together a Blouse with Fun Accessories

90% of the time you can catch me wearing leggings or black jeans and these outfits are no exception. You can class up a simple pair of black jeans by adding a blouse which fits your personality (again both of these are from my local thirst store!). I personally love shirts which are overall fitted, but with a little extra room in the tummy (all the better for eating ice cream and pizza). I added hair accessories to both of these outfits, specifically a headband and a sunhat to bring the looks together.

Jump about in a Jumpsuit

I value comfort above all else when selecting my wardrobe. If it isn’t comfortable, I am not wearing it, plain and simple. Jumpsuits and rompers have the benefit of looking like a special occasion piece of clothing while feeling like you are wearing pajamas. An added benefit? Every jumpsuit I have come across actually has POCKETS! You heard me ladies and gentlemen, pockets. I was able to take this photo with my phone and car keys inside my pocket. I will take that as a win.

Keep Cool in a Light Cardigan

This is my usual brunch outfit. Leggings that look like pants, a white tank top, and a cardigan. If you are spending your Valentine’s day doing something more casual but you still want to look put together, a cardigan can dress you up in a matter of seconds.
